hello all.
any good discounts available, we normaly get the family tickets with the parking included but any good deals about?

I haven't bought tickets for a boat show for years. I normally ask the builders of my boat for some complimentary tickets or if you plan ahead you can normally get tickets from a broker or agent if you are interested in a particular boat. Essex Boatyards often give out VIP passes with a limo to the show and back. I have even had unsolicited tickets from Sealine and we have never owned one or been remotely interested in buying one. On occasions we have had more tickets than we can use so tend to give some away to a family looking to get into the show on the day.

Also at previous shows mailspeed marine or marinestore?have offered free tickets if you spend a minimum amount with them.

There are lots of methods of getting tickets especially in today's climate. In the end the sales agents need to get people inside their boats if they are to stand any chance of selling one, a free ticket is one way they can do that and who knows you may even buy one eventually!

Have a good one!

you get a discount by booking in advance..advance means only the day before you go, and the ticket is open for any day.
Must look into this Tesco story though!

Free Tickets

If you regularly buy PBO, YM, or YW then take a subscription out with a 10% discount ( post included ) and you get 2 free tickets. Go to their website to do. Its a simple and a good deal.

watch out for credit card scams at the show - i had my details copied and used after buying a chartplotter at one of the stalls that used one of those that imprint a copy of your card and sign. it was one that was using ad hoc staff to man it. won't name as i haven't got 100 percent proof it was them. just highly likely. luckily my card issuer called to ask if i was trying to by some very expensive mobo gear in scotland....

There was a code in this week's Country Press for £5 off a ticket which was P58 but it does not seem to work at all.
