Someone has to ask - SBS tickets

Used to be that proof of residence in certain Southampton post codes gained free access, since much of the area is common ground for residents. This year, the web site doesn't mention this privilege!

Doesn't seem to work anymore. My son tried last year (he lives about half a mile away) and was told its for pensioners only. They were really not that keen to let him in - perhaps even pensioners would have to have both parents with them ... Anyway, my boatie Christmas present turned into an IKEA one. Apparently they don't charge for entry.

Free entry here, kind of:

OK, so you don't get to go to the show, but you get to have a look around the interiors of 20 boats that are at the show, without getting up off your seat, buying overpriced food or getting rained on :D

Nice pictures GS but i still cant get over how cheap the Hanse 315' interior looks, but i guess they're still in business and Bavaria aren't................

Rang the ticket line today. OAPs in post codes SO14 to SO19 get free entry. Take proof of identity/age, and proof of residence (ie ; electricity bill . . . with your name on it!)
