Hello,
I've been looking at boats recently and I'm especially looking at cabin cruisers and canal cruisers at around 20-35ft.
Also are there any other types of boat that would make good sized liveaboards, for very cheap? (looking to spend around the £3000 mark, seen a few cabin cruisers go for this on ebay... although if they're any good is yet to be found out). Quite happy to get handy with the ply though.
I'm off to uni in Brighton in September and was thinking of ways to live for less and thought a boat may well be just the thing for cheap living, especially since I'm only small (5'2) and a none drinker, obviously excess alcohol and water aren't the greatest mix!
Do you think this would be plausible?
Also, I've found very mixed prices regarding mooring fees, so wondered if anyone who is moored around the Brighton area could give me an idea of what they're paying please? I'm a driver so it wouldn't have to be in Brighton marina. I was thinking Newhaven might be quite a good bet...
Many thanks for any advice.
