so what are the options ? Go for boat speed and keep heading S, and then play dodgems with those holes which are tracking across to CGH ?

I don't think there are tactical advantages to be gained from sailing the GC route ?

(I could kick myself for not spotting that the 30kts wind was coming in from the E )

Not sure what I'm going to do over the next 48hrs.

The Wee fella is going into hospital tomorrow for an operation, so I ain't got a clue when I'll get onto SOL in the next 48hrs. Will set some DC's at 6am tomorrow before we leave for the hospital.

Any chance we could pause the race?;)

Cheers
Al.

Probably too late now but I could babysit the boat for you if you PM me your password.

We'll be thinking of you all. Hope everything goes well.

Thanks very much for the offer, Dipper.

The wee fella wast admitted this morning, but discharged by lunchtime, operations cancelled, as it was decided the risks of the aneasthetic out weighed the benefits of the surgery at this time.

Great news, but a waste of everyones time.

So back to the race, nothings changed anyway. :D

Thanks again,
Cheers
Al.

oh dear. Have you seen the wind hole coming in about 52 hours time?

Anyone else heading deep south to get below it ?

It was nail biting right to the finish. Was worried about a few boats to the north.

What a challenge.... mjm
