Hermees has travelled further rising up and down with the tide on her mooring, than in forward motion. When you consider that the rise and fall between tides in Jersey can be 40ft then I've got no chance of doing enough horizontal miles to catch up with the vertical miles!
All due of course to time(lack of) tide(usually out when I'm off work) and weather(cr*p).
