Slowest Concorde trip 12/4/04

Concorde AA makes her final trip down the Thames on Monday 12th April. On a barge en-route to Scotland. Anyone going to see this??

Does anyone know where all the Concorde's have gone. There are complete ones in Barbados @ Filton. Reconstructed ones in New York @ Scotland, But where else? I hope they will keep the Bristol one flying at Air Shows even if by Public subscription or Lotto Money. Iam only glad I flew On this beautiful bird while I had the chance.. Dave.

Presumably so that the "Great British Public" forget her as fast as possible and the decision to stop her flying does not get further challenge. Bit like the minister who instructed that the TSR2 jigs be destroyed to prevent the project being revived.

I too am grateful to have flown in her, although not as a fare paying passenger, no booze for instrument techs
