Years ago I knew some Canadianswho bought a Danish fishing boat took it to the aIOW to fit out as a schooner,they ordered all the spars and masts in the log fro British Columbia and If I recall correctly floated them across from Portsmouth

Wonderful knot free quality. I doubt much if any British sita attains this standard.
