Sunk Yacht Kirby Creek

In 2024 nothing happened. This week they have just replied saying it doesn't warrant an NtM but will be forwarded to local contact who may issue a local notice. I am not holding my breath.
Did they update the chart?
If not send them a picture of the sunk vessel in this tread and ask if they are happy that they would not be liable for any future accidents / sinkings if aware of dangers but don’t update charts (UKHO seems a bit paranoid about liability nowadays).

In the days when I had some contact with the UKHO they referred to small corrections to depths etc., sent in by mariners, as “P&O Corrections”, and were a bit sniffy about them.

I think it possible that they might be even sniffier about corrections sent in by yachtspeople.

The two stakes on the skippers island side are scaffold tubes firmly embedded in the mud. I tried to cut them off last year with a woodsaw...that's when I realised they were steel. I'm guessing the rest are the same.
What about sliding a longer pole (long enough be visible at HW springs) over each of them? I’m loath to add plastic to the seas but a length of drain pipe over each would do it. I’d be happy to source pipes and go and install them but I accept they’d be a bit of an eyesore in a really nice part of the world. Wouldn’t want to ruffle any feathers.

Seems a very good idea. I was toying with tying buoys/fenders but that seems better. A friend of a friend flew his drone over this morning, wasn't quite sure where to look, and the three posts he found were yet more posts in addition.

Yes, I can submit an H102, of course. Alan, will you PM me with your provenance of the lat/longs. I am not doubting you but the H102 requires some provenance to support accuracy, e.g. what kit, how close to the actual poles.etc.
