Last April I bought the all singing and dancing S15 radio GPs & Navtex .
The Dual Frequency ariel will be avalable in 2 weeks I was told ( Ha HA)

Many calls through the summer resulted in as many excuses with the common one being only a couple of weeks to go.
August resulted in the reply its ready but you cannot have one yet we are launching it at the Southampton show.
Octobers reply was its ready we are waiting for the packaging . As if a nice cardboard box showing the ariel will do the job .
Novembers answer was I will call you back and guess what .. no call.
Has body elso been conned in this way ?

Same thing happened to me, I was told that that severe production problems in China are hampering the release, I don't know why as they say that in effect it is the same unit as the navtex engine with different branding.

I'm not to bothered at the moment though as it can wait until next Spring now.

Apart from the ridiculous delay, is the radio any good?

I quite fancy the idea of it displaying NAVTEX and GPS data.

Your not on your own, I have about 20 customers waiting as well, it really gets up my nose that they are still marketing it yet you cant get it, I sold quite a few on the basis that the antenna was not going to take very long, its reflecting on my company now!

I am told the latest is next week sometime....fingers crossed!

Joe,
The radio is ok but for other functions of the GPS the instruction book is ****
When connected to my ST50 speed and GPs the set shown speed alternating between say 5knots from the GPs and around 30 which must be a plrblem from the instruments.
