I cant find this info online.

1. If i take a yacht up to sharpness does it cost to lock in?
2. If I want to take it up the canal to gloucester do I need to pay for the canal
3. Is it all oossible with 1.5m draft?

To go to gloucester you will need some sort of visitors licence.

yes the charge 25 pounds for entry to sharpness on a visitor licence.

certainly you will have no problem at 1,5.

we draw 2mtr and had no problem, think the limit is 3+

http://canalrivertrust.org.uk/boating/licensing/buy-a-visitor-licence is a good place to start from. be certain to obtain v licence on line before arrival as the charge is increased by over 100 pounds!!! if done on arrival.

http://gloucesterharbourtrustees.org.uk/ quite useful as well.

Looks nice and calm from where i'm sitting.
Ref. Gloucester, why not join the organised trip up there.Nobody had to mess about with paperwork or got their boats checked.

Bit of a swell that is rocking the boat, can't wait for 1am when the tide changes in my favour
