The cockpit lockers on our boat leak to the extent that after hosing the boat down or a heavy rain fall you quite often have to mop a couple of bucket out of the locker and from the bilges. There seems to be a water track that runs straight into the bilge.
I have seen on some boats that the locker lids are sealed with almost a car door rubber / seal, to prevent any water entering. Can anyone recommend a source of car door rubber apart from my local car dealer or has anyone got any other solutions for sealing cockpit lockers on boats.
TIA
