Sealine S24 - Switch on the Throttle

Does anyone know what this little switch is for on my sealine S24 Throttle the one circled in Blue in the pic below

Looks like the switch you press and hold to allow the outdrive leg to be raised above the beach position ? Otherwise the leg will not trim up above +6.

As Momac has said, it overrides the outdrive trim to go above +6 to +40, essentially beach mode. In the +40, don't engage drive above 1000 rpm i.e. tick over, also steering will be minimal. Press and hold the button and you will hear a click, sometimes the button can be temperamental.

I am happy to take good advice and grateful for assistance as I have received here. Perhaps in respect of servicing my advice and evidence is what should be taken. Anyway Didn't you throw in the towel some time ago

Sealine / Engine manuals don't really say.

But on the basis that this is the control without the trim/tilt switches, it's reasonable to deduce that the switch is the tilt limit override.

I don't think so.
The picture that matches is the one on the right hand side there, and that's the one without a kill cord cut-off switch.

I have received good advice that it seems that it is indeed the button you press to allow the outdrive to go up very high for what is Beaching mode or in my case Trailering mode.

I was going to say that "It's the button that if you don't use it, your bellows might last for 5 years in brackish water without barnacles".
Or your boat might require expensive repairs or sink.

But you don't get many points for easy targets.
