My friend has an old Seahopper, which isn't in bad shape, but needs a good amount of work to make practically usable.
I checked the Seahopper site and when discussing re-varnishing they suggest "to reduce problems with scratching the keel...consider fitting a couple of thin sacrificial strips of wood onto the keel". I checked the Seahopper manual, but couldn't see any images of this suggestion.
If anyone here has done this, would it be possible to share pictures? I'm not a Seahopper owner, so I'm unfamiliar the boat, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
