sea hawk

anybody got any info on a trailer sailer i think the make is either sea hawk or hawk its 17/18ft.
what are they like for a first time trailer sailor/how do they cope on the sea?any info would be great

I was the proud owner of a Seahawk 17 from 1979 until I was forced into motor boating by a mutinous crew in 1984. We used to take her down to Ichenor for the summer and rent a swinging mooring (had a caravan at Bracklesham). She was fine for single handing around the Solent - not the fastest but very steady. But not really the thing for a growing young family, except for day trips, mostly under the four horse Yamaha.
The boat trailed without problem and was easy to launch and recover, provided a certain amount of planning was done.
She was great fun for me - wife and kids were not so sure, but came under sufference. When larger sailing yacht was mooted - motor boat was the result. Now I'm a committed diesel head 20 knot tearaway.
