Anyone else seeing a large amount of saucy lady ads ‘between’ threads on the forum?

I’m worried it’s just me due to algorithmic profiling based on ‘other’ websites I may have inadvertently visited by complete mistake.

To the mods: whilst the ladies in question have the most pleasing countenances, I’m not sure they’re in keeping with the noble tradition of sailing and I’m worried some of our younger more easily led members may be lured by these sirens into dubious and immoral behaviour.

Instal an ad blocker extension to your browser, that should fix it?

No use complaining to the moderators - such things are chosen by algorithm by an advert supplier who has no connection with IPC beyond a sales contract. The adverts are chosen based on your previous browsing history; as others have said, if you don't want to see them, install an ad-blocker. However, an increasing number of sites detect ad blockers and deny access to the site unless you disable it!

On the very few occasions I have arrived on such a site I have rapidly concluded that my desire not to be pestered with adverts overcomes, by a long way, my desire to visit the site and I move on elsewhere.

there is usually a little blue box with a cross in it within the ad - selecting it enables you to say that it is of no interest to you, which tends to make them go away
Only some of the ad providers do that, not all.
And even then, you'll just get other ones.

Adblock Plus keeps the conservatory roofs and, possibly unfortunately, the lovely ladies away on my PC, Actually, no, not unfortunately. They're only after me for my money anyway
