This year we are towing my 24ft Sealine to Sardinia via the Marseille ferry. The area around Alghero looks interesting. Anyone been there?

Me and my wife have differing opinions of Alghero.
But, the one thing we do agree on, is that there is one place you must visit, the "Al Tuguri" restorante.
Just ask the maitre d' to recommend something... the food is the best we have ever tasted! Anywhere!
The restaurant is on the Via Maiorca, in the old town.

Thanks for the reply. We will be based in Alghero marina and renting an apartment in a complex called Picale about a couple of miles away. Great tip, any others??
