Salcome marine services

Anyone know these??? Looking at a T34 that was apparently serviced by them and looking for comments.

Hi, yup I have used SMS for my volvo diesel service and they were very good; they were recommended as the best volvo people in the area by my old mercruiser engineer

Hi, I think you've made the same mistake as I did - I sent a reply and had to erase it. It dawned on me that there isn't any connection,as far as I know, between SMS and Salcombe Marine Services. The former are a well respected Volvo and Honda dealer at Lincombe with the initials standing for Starey Marine Services. The latter are, I believe, brokers that have premises on Island Street in Salcombe.

I Think you are correct in that there are two companies known as SMS in salcombe, if it transpires that Starey Marine Services did indeed look after the servicing, if you speak to the proprieter, John Bowers, I am sure he will give you the lowdown. I have used them in the past and found them to be quite proficient.

Have uou sold Bermuda yet???
If not it shouldn't be long, a boat in that condition should sell very quickly, just a shame it came on the market to early for me!!!!
Another 6 months would have been perfect!!!
