Sailing today

I decided to stay within the confines of chichester harbour and share it with as many as four other yachts - just glorious. Note to self - don't stand underneath the boom when raising the mainsail after rain and snow, you tend to get wet....

Hi everyone, where were you all today, we went out on the Solent for a poddle about at 10am and only 8 sails max seen the whole time. 17Miles and a good time later still only 9 out there. Was everyone still snowed in?

Was there a regatta on with all those boats about?

We were there.
Cowes Sealift yesterday, Hamble last night.

We had a great sail from Hamble to Beaulieu and back, 10-12kts and a spinnaker all the way home. Beautiful day, like summer, just 20 degrees colder, and with 10 boats out instead of 10,000!

I gawped at the Isle of Wight from Stubbinton & counted 6/7 boats in the afternoon. Not much wind....not worth the bother for a one day sail.Need good weather & the chance of an adventure.
