Today's course five happy budding sailmakers.James Lodesman produced excellent hand work on his mainsail luff,replacing the luff eyes in damaged luff tape.Seams resewn very profesional looking job.
.John Parcifal repaired his sac strip,fitted some webbing anti chafe and replaced the broken leech line cleat.
Sara restitched the leech of her main,and repaired the leech chafe by hand,also replaced corroded luff eyes,.
Simon mended his batten pockets,and retrimmed the bolt rope.
Damian replaced the bolt rope in the genoa and restitched the seams.a
All in all everybody went home with with one sail repaired for the season.

I have dabbled a bit with sail repair occasionally. . . . . . . I think it is great an expert is offering a course on sail repair to those nearby. To the rest I say just give it a go. olewill
