sorry no I don't see p34 of YW.. don't buy.. personally I find posts that simply refer to a page in a magazine slightly irritating when there is no context to the post.. Would be nice to here your comment and whatever RKJ has to say ... in brief/summary... :)

Is this the November issue as I don't have a December issue yet ?

If its the November issue, he was carping on about the money men controlling sailing especially America's Cup.

Is this what you want to discuss ?

Buy you own like I had to.

Despite this country being run by a socialist party, we still live in a capitalist society.

The post was only directed at those who stumped up the cash to buy.

No. It's about the nanny state interferring in yachting. Your Dec issue will be with you in the next few days. Mine arrived this morning.

We do - but our copy hasn't come thru the letter box yet so your page reference doesn't help us either. Have pity on those who are made to wait ages by IPC's lousy circulation methods.

Mine arrived this morning and K-J's article was just short enough to read during one egg and a sausage (Atkinsish!)

The man says it as it is. Please wait until you've read before replying.

I don't get YW, just YM and PBO. I'm sorry i'm not in the exclusive club and therefore cannot enter this discussion.

Steve...

...you are making a great point about the contributors to the YM forum being unable to comment on a topic in YW. Now, whilst they are both from the same stable, most forumites here will only read YM or maybe PBO...after all YW does have the smaller circulation in the IPC boaty stable.

Maybe, (and this is only a suggestion) that if you are going to start a topic that very few are going to have any inkling of what you are going on about, you are unlikely to draw the response that perhaps you are after.

So, (again only a suggestion) stop trying to boost the circulation figures of a 'failing' IPC journal by telling everyone here to rush out and buy the December issue of this coffee table magazine!

Nonsense - the Tories have been in power non-stop since Tatcher.
TB's greatest service to the Tories -> he's made them re-electable by calling them New Labour.

Proof: they privatised air traffic control.! Please explain to me how you can make a profit out of safety.

Re: Robin Knox Johnston says it all in Yachting Wo

two dyslexics skiiing, one says we should zig and then zag down the slope, the other says no, we should zag first, then zig. This argument continues for a while and another chap walks up.
"Hey can you help us" says one of the dyslexics, "We can't decide whether we should zig, then zag, or zag then zig down this slope"
"I'm afraid I can't help you" says the new guy "I'm not a skiier, I'm a taboggonist"

"Oh in that Case I'll have 20 benson and hedges and a box of matches" says the dyslexic

boom, boom.
