Rigger needed, central Scotland

Ferry Marine at Port Edgar marina do a good service. Assuming your mast is down, just take all the shrouds/forestay/bottle screws etc to them and they will make up a new set to match.

I had this done some years ago and they were not too expensive.

Thanks for the info but I called Ferry Marine on 3 separate occasions earlier this year to have this work done and they didn't want to travel less than a couple of miles to survey the work or provide a quotation. They didn't even return my calls on the last 2 occasions.

Sorry but thumbs down on this one.

You could try SeaSpan who are usually pretty helpful, although effectively a one man band.

I've used Scotia Rigging Services in Linwood twice, but not for a year or two. They did a good job both times. Last time I re-rigged however I did it myself with Norseman terminals to save quite a bit of cash.

I used Seaspan a couple of years ago - they are basically a chandler but they will reproduce your existing rig. Found the service good and competitive

They gave me a quote against my measurements of the existing rig, then I sent it to them to copy.
