I always think that siome nice patio doors add to the look and practicality of a boat

Some boats do have sliding doors just like patio doors. Big Mobos and IIRC some not so big motorsailers

About ten years ago First Mate and I got the chance to have a week's Skippered Charter on a 60 foot Catermaran out of Sint Maarten.

It had huge sliding Patio Doors that led to the bar area with about ten feet of bar top and four swivel stools.

This was open 24/7.

Dont remember too much about the sailing.............................

I reckon these sliding / patio doors would be ideal for filming purposes, just begging to be smashed open by worried skipper clutching sextant / angry husband clutching gun...

On the floor of her bedroom lie blazer and shorts,
And the cream-coloured walls are be-trophied with sports,
And westering, questioning settles the sun,
On your low-leaded window, Miss Joan Hunter Dunn.
