Certainly sufficient power.
I think they topped out at about 42-44 knots with 2 x 205hp V6 4.3, stainless duo-props when new. Given the additional drag of x2 outdrives the 'effective' power of 410hp would be reduced to about 320hp.
So, another 25-30% more power should provide the additional 3-5 knots.
I can't comment of the drive ratios but there are plenty of petrol powered V8, duo-prop boats regularly achieving 50 knots, day in, day out. (not much more, mind).
