Thanks Phillip, I'll give them a try. I spent my last year at sea on box boats with Sea Containers. Only spent 12 hours in port which was a bit different from the Bank Line general cargo boats I did my cadetship on, they didn't stop in port for less than 3 days!

I was with P&O (in one way or another, as they kept changing the company "brand"). First off it was CFL/OCL, then P&OCL, then P&O, and finally P&O-Nedlloyd. That was when redundancy came, and I went with Maersk for a while. Now medically retired early, and loving it after 25 years on boxboats, and a couple before that on banana boats.
Anyway, I got a new lamp glass from them via my local chandlery last year. There are two types for the Fastnet, one very round and the other a bit slimmer. But Nauticalia will put you right on the correct one.
