We own a Regal boat and are currently experiencing problems with it.

We would like to contact Regal in America, and wondered if anyone had the name of a good contact within the company, as I would like to write directly to them regarding techincal/boat hull structure problems.

I have contacted customer services who have provided little help, and so are looking for a contact with whom I may get the necessary help.

It is difficult to find out names etc, so your help would be greatly appreciated with the company being located in Orlando.

BrendanS has a Regal too I believe - but not a lot of problems. Try a pm
Alternatively, and I hope Kim doesn't object to this, you could try logging on to this forum http://my.boatus.com/forum/ and asking Caroline's opinion re your problem and how to take it forward. I am assuming here that you have tried the UK importer so this would be my next step.
Don't forget to come back here for all your UK boating needs!

If you are having a problem with a Regal Dealer on the Thames then use another. I now use a dealer in Wales who is great, the one on the Thames was useless. Contact Regal Customer Services by email on the website and they get back to you in about two days. They also had a go at the dealer for me because Regal US had to get involved.

Good luck, I am really happy with mine so far.

But I understood the one on the Thames was the main importer?

Has this situation changed?

If not then all Regals in the UK still have the Thames dealer in the loop

I have sent you a private mail as well, but Bill Peach, as brendanS says, is the man to get hold of. He normally replies within a couple of days. PM me if you want some other suggestions

He trafvels a great deal, so sometimes may take a week or longer to respond, but he will get return emails, and gets things sorted

I thought that this as well but Regal told me to use my nearest dealer as they now deal direct with USA. For instance I needed new covers and the local dealer said I would have to pay shipping as they had no boats coming over. I could however check other dealers and see if they had any boats on order to cut the cost. This makes it look to me as though they deal direct.

But in the world of boats.....who knows!
