This is serious;

I've heard a rumour that adding hot chilli powder to anti foul particularly in the Med increases its efficency.

Anyone heard of this, anyone tried it? Does it work?

I have heard it works by mixing with ordinary paint.Probably be dearer than antifoul though.

This only applies to wooden hulls! (sea worms in med like wood!) but yes I have a friend who owns some Gullets and this is added to the mixture!

Heard it's true but the problem is getting the anti-foul to stick once the chilli powder has been added to it
