Ut's a desperately sad story about a troubled man. I can't see how filming it can be any succour to his family and can only serve to remind them of their suffering. It has no general relevance to current affairs. A bit like rushing to see a man handing in his garage after his business went tits up.

The second video is mesmerizing to me.

There are hydrofoils on this unique craft:

People seem so much more polite than they do now a days.

The number of boats without topping lifts was interesting too; a piece of equipment that I feel is almost essential for safe / comfortable boating (ok, they probably weren't going to hand the sails for the entire trip, but they may have wanted to reef...)

Hello Norman. This is my first post, I only joined the group this evening after doing a search looking to buy a Navicator. (Nav as in Navigate and 'cator as in locator. I would dearly love to get hold of one as I built the first 6 in my garden shed. The cases were made of fibre glass and all the edges had to be dressed to clean off the glass hairs. The holes and slots for the controls had to be drilled and shaped by needle files. All the holes in the PCB for the radio were drilled by hand. The later ones were built in a two piece injection moulded case, and very smart they looked. Those were the days.
Best regards. John.
