After a rather windy and wet weekend I have discovered my foulies aren't exactly waterproof. So can they be re-proofed? XM offshore.

Use the proper stuff, Nikwax restorer and re-proofer used as per the directions works great. Trouble will be if you have used them for years without washing the salt out you are b**ered. I have 5 year old XM jacket and leggings that look like sh*t but are totally waterproof

Would be worth asking the manufacturer. When mine started leaking (about 5 years old and lightly used - not XM) they replaced them with new. Had tried re-proofing but wasn't very impressed.

If

This is a matter of proofing then yes they can be saved. Worth getting them checked to see if the materials have delaminated, as can happen, and then they are u/s
