Hi
I have a Garmin GPS "Echomap 95sv and a Garmin radio VHF100i.
At the minute the radio displays a message ( No GPS data).
I would like to wire it in and have found these two diagrams.
The radio has two transmit and two receive wires, the GPS has one transmit and one receive wires.
Do I need to connect both the receive and transmit wires from the radio to the receive and transmit wire from the radio, or just one of each.

Definitely just one set of wires from the radio. Check the manual to see if there is a specific pair for the purpose just in case they have predefined uses.

Thanks everyone
I have wired it as Paul outlined. I still have the ( no GPS info) on the radio.
I have checked the GPS and the " user data sharing" is switched on.
Is there anything else that needs to set on the GPS to allow this to operate.

User data sharing is not relevant. Check the settings on the plotter and make sure the NMEA ports are set to 4800.

I seem to recall you having other equipment connected to the plotter NMEA port, if that's correct, what is it ?

Thanks again everyone, the wiring tip worked out spot on Paul, it must have taken a bit of time to load the data ass when I got back to the boat the radio had the GPS data on the display.
