I need to install one too, but my radar arch is quite low, head height in fact, so I am undecided.

col has just fitted a JRC 1500 MkII and will be back from 2 weeks intensive testing next week - suggest you pm him
I fitted the MkI (sourced 2nd hand etc) a couple of months ago {which may have influenced col?} and once I had set it up properly (any 10yr old can do it in 5 minutes from manual) and got the hang of the relationship between gain/range I find it excellent.
