Hi. I have a Koden MD-300 radar which until now has worked perfectly. I'ts just developed the following fault:-
Instead of stepping through the following ranges, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8 & 16 Nm, it now steps through:- 4, 8, 16 and 32 Nm!!!
also the range rings now appear a little ragged whereas before they were very smooth.
Anyone have any suggestions or know a good place to take it for repair? Poole, Dorset.

Thanks in advance,
Brian

The new UK distributors for UK are Mantsbrite of Maldon Essex Tel 01621 853003. They are very approachable so, even if this set is before their time, I am sure that David or Brian Ash will be able to point you in an appropraiate direction.

Are the settings user selected? Could little fingers (or not so little) have changed things over?
A factory reset (ie back to default settings) might help here.
I have a charter boat and I have lost count of the number of times things stopped working properly due to the "I wonder what happens if I press buttons at random"
My favorite was a charter who recalibrated the depth to the air-draft.
