I thought it would be a good idea to print a coy of jamesJermains excellent post that included the letter to the RYA but find the RH side truncated.

Apart from cut & paste text into a word doc is there a simple way of printing complete page?

Select the text you want to print, click on file, print, selection, OK and there you have it.

Sorry to be dense but got same result again.

Where does "selection" come in? I click on print and it prints no way that I can see to get a "selection" command

When you hit file, print the print control window should open. Here you select your printer (if you have more than one) then in the lower left of the window you have a section headed page range - that is where you select "selection" then "apply" then "print"

Make sure you select the text you want to pring before you start clicking on "file" etc....

Did exactly as instructed but extreme RH side still not included in printed sheet

Try File > Print Preview and reduce the ratio to 90% or 80% (Top centre)and see if it comes in at the right

No % button just enlarges display not content on pager when I do it.

Scuttlebutt used to have a print thread key did it some while ago?

i have the same problem with other sites as well,you would think that by now that problem would have been fixed

I use printkey which displays the page then i either print as is or define the area to be printed.Cant understand why that works when print as dosent

Have you tried selecting the text you want (click and drag mouse around it) and pasting (right click - paste) it into a blank email or word doc, and printing from there?

What browser are you trying to print from?

Go to his post, then click on the print post icon underneath (to right of post extras), and it will format the post in a print friendly way
