Printing list of waypoints in list of routes

A few years ago I found a way of printing a list of GPS waypoints in each of a list of routes.
Unfortunately it was so easy that when recently I wanted to repeat the exercise I could not remember how it was done.
Having spent many hours searching the internet I have had to give up.
If anyone has successfully achieved that result, please let me know How!

I have an old app/program called "Garmin BaseCamp" on my PC but I don't think I have much, if any, real experience of what it can do. And anyway I only have ancient Garmin serial-only (RS232) devices.

I use a pen/pencil and paper as I can't plug a printer into my chartplotter.

Or, I am glad to see that www.gpsu.co.uk is still available ~25 years after I first started using it. It can connect to many manufacturers devices and show tracks and waypoints on Google Maps etc.

BTW I can barely remember those dashed-zero symbols. Who was using those glyphs "a few years ago"?
Edit: Me. They are ubiquitous but I had forgotten!

May have misunderstood what you're trying to do, but as a starter for 10 if you have Excel, try opening the GPX file in that - you'll have to change the file type on the "Open" dialog to 'all types' as Excel won't recognise GPX file type, and you'll get a couple of messages saying this and that abut not recognising some character types in the file, but it should offer you the option of opening the file as an XML, and that should give you something like the following (which was from a list of Solent Waypoints I had sitting around on my PC)..
