Likewise, we only use the ”downstairs“ lounge the few times we visit in winter, it’s great people like different things as it gives more choice, my GT3.2 lasted 3 weeks !……….personally, boating in the U.K. wouldn’t be for me but I can see if I did, a boat with large indoor spaces would be more beneficial than an open deck boat…opposite in the med, in summer we only prepare some meals below deck, all other times we are on deck.I also tend to prioritise outdoor space over indoor for the med. Outside space is more important than inside space for us, except the kitchen which has to have enough cupboards. Fridge space also being highly important. I tend to go to Mallorca from April to October and don't tend to go in the winter just to do something different elsewhere. Generally not bothered by Lounge space too much, even less about a table inside to eat. Am even thinking I may move from a flybridge boat to a day boat (well day boatish), with the superhawk 55 a possibility. At that speed could do Mallorca to Ibiza (and back) in a day.
As for the boats over 70 feet, San Lorenzo is def my preference over Sunseeker and Princess. Although they do cost more as well. The San Lorenzo in Southampton was superbly finished. Although I do get why people would buy the X80, if I could afford one I doubt I would buy one.
As for cars, my new fav is the Porsche 991.2 GT3 - great fun to drive. Even prefer it to the latest 992 GT3. Missus hates it though.
