Princess X80. Have they just won motor boats?

Just sat through the Aquaholic review of the X 80. Clearly has some fantastic internal and external space. Would work well as a charter boat for 2 families that don’t get on. They would never have to meet. Would still need to be blindfolded on the approach to the boat. That ugly stick must be nearly worn out?

The looks are subjective - I agree that it's not the most beautiful boat in the world but I could live with it, your mileage may vary, as the saying has it.

But ultimately, I think Princess designed it as a boat that will sell rather than a boat that people will pin a picture of on their bedroom wall. And I suspect it will do that rather well.

It's definitely a clever layout. I'm still undecided about not having a true flybridge. There is something very nice about an unrestricted open upper helm position.. And the looks? Well I've tried to give it time to warm to but it's still an ugly thing, particularly looking directly beam on from a distance. It looks like a smaller boat shadowing a larger one.. I still think boats need to be attractive as well as practical.
