I have a Princess 32 but to pass the Bost safety I need to show the Flavell Vanessa on board is original has anyone got anything that shows these were installed as original spec?

Why should this matter?
There must be hundreds if not thousands of boats that need a BSS that have changed/added a cooker. All the inspection is to check that the gas system inc the cylinder is installed correctly ie pipework good condition, supported and free of leakage etc. and that the appliance is in good condition.

Edit: a quick Google search indicates that it may be acceptable to not have flame failure devices on original equipment. If that is the reason the BSS examiner is asking, then fair play. As the boat owner, I would have to question whether I would be happy to have a gas appliance without flame failure, but if it has survived this long maybe some would accept the risk. Personally, I suspect your appliance is not equipped with flame failure and in your shoes I would be looking to replace it with one that is, but it's your call.
