posting pictures

Okay
This time I downloaded the picture from Google Photos, hit the button as in #4 (Thanks Baggy), found picture then clicked Edit, then save, then select.
I can't remember what I re-sized too, but what's best?

I can see the attach files tab bottom left but it says the photo which was emailed to me is too large . I not certain why it’s too large given it mailed happily but I guess I need to resize so how do I resize without spoiling quality size etc ? I feel there should be a resize to fit or suchlike but not really using iPad much for photos generally and they seem to post fine on Instagram site so what I am I doing wrong on YBW ?

My phots are usually about 4mb from my DSLR ... so I load into Paint and resize to 30% ... save as a separate file. Size is then large for forum display but small enough to load reasonably quick ... about 400 - 500Kb

But you are talking iPad ... so you need to get an image processing app for your iPad which will resize your photos ....

OR use a hosting site to then post the link here.

Testing, testing!

Well that didn't work! Used Postimage but must have gone wrong somewhere! Why don't they make these things easy for old duffers instead of leaving you to try to figure it out for yourself?
