Subscribe to PBO.
Buy YM most months
Read Classic Boat at the hairdressers.

If the sainted Sarah edited Motor Boats Monthly, I'd probably read that too (Only Joking...)

I subscribed to Nudist Canoeist after I heard they were into naked paddlings. Boy, was I disappointed.

I do subscribe to both PBO and YM.

Remember when I used to die with envy at what PBO staff and others could build themselves, and in those days used to buy the odd YM, tho it seemed a world away.

Nowadays PBO should really drop the P, and YM so good for the pipe dream cruises etc., but they have moved closer and the boats they show seem further out of reach.

Sadly never been accosted by young ladies selling subscriptions, still, live in hope

Being by nature a bit of a cheapskate, and one with a pretty poor memory, I simply re -read all my collection of old PBO and YM from the 90's. The annual "laying up tips" and "test of copper / epoxy antifoul" and "replacing cabin windows" type of article dont really change much year to year anyway.

Indeed, I've often wondered if IPC dont simply re-gurgitate old articles slightly freshened up by the one journo they employ! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
