Yes but then the boat that I race isnt really a racing boat. The normal recipe is cruise in summer with swmbo and race in winter with "the lads".

Magic has twice cruised from Liverpool to Norway and back under the previous ownership but since we've had her we have removed many of the Labour saving devices in favour of the higher performance options. Now she's a right ballache to cruise, however SWMBO and I did have a very pleasant long weekend pottering in the summer and I'm planning on cruising South Devon whilst the boat is down there for the Nationals next year.

I voted no, but it's not a real no...

I do quite a lot of cruising, and love it. But not in the race boat. I don't really fancy cruising a boat with a bolt rope main, jib on a foil and all the other little racing bits. Taking the thing down to Dartmouth once a year is enough.
