With suitable rings, we have shackle attachments points for hoisting, in case of getting into difficulties swimming.

On a similar vein, or vain, I wonder if a grease gun with suitable (lithium?) grease should be used pump lubricant into the offending nipples. Does that have any bearing on the matter in hand?Smear a bit of udder cream on them ( available from agricultural stockists) . Apparently keeps them nice and supple and soft![]()

Sounds painful... My nan used to use corn plasters... little round cotton wool things, like a polo mint, these may help.

Bleeding nipples is a serious medical condition, with the long waiting times for ambulances and bed blocking the OP should be aware of the risks he is exposing himself to. Best not mention SEPSIS.That's stretching a point, don't you think?
