Thanks Longjohn but I am going to busy taking down my small Marquee that all the Thames yacht clubs use for free in the season but are not around when it has to be packed away for the winter.

It's funny how everyone disappears when there's work to be done. BTW how's the vibration problem now - have you found out what the problem was?

Vibration! Nope! Still not sorted but narrowed down to (A) Possibly some sort of kink in the starboard shaft setting up a resonance at higher revs. (B) Starboard Cutlass Bearing. She's out for anti-fouling etc. later this year I will have the bearings changed then and check the shaft. <sigh>

My pet hates on the boat:

-A certain family member leaving the toilet door open and the whole boat being unbearable within seconds

-Squeeeky voices in the early hours of the mornings crying out for pain killers and claiming they're going to be sick

-Out of 4 people 3 snoring in chorus with the dog just as the 4th is dropping off to sleep

-Incriminating photos of adults that they were unaware were being taken at the time (sorry thats a good one as Pauline knows)

PS. Byron, wer'e having a boat warming party in Brighton, think Dad knows but your very welcome!
