I have a pathfinder radar/chartplotter interfaced to a ST60 instrument system and ST4000 Wheel Pilot via Seatalk. The pathfinder will display all instrument data except Log / Trip (which happens to be the one I use the most from below !!!).

Had several Emails with Raymarine but not yet got a solution as they cannot reproduce it, is anybody else suffering the same problem, the log / trip data displays ok on the ST4000 autopiolt control head so its being transmitted.

Suggest you look at the data sentences the pathfinder is set to receive. You may find that you need to turn on that sentence. The pathfinder handbook tells you how to check which sentences are active and what they do. Also check the NMEA bridge setting in the system setup. This should be set to off in my experience as if it is set to on my ST6000 autohelm unti freezes, so it is possible that that can cause problems.

Anatoly,

Your post, which is a repetition of mails that you appear to have been circulating this week, is not particularly helpful in the context of this question. It is therefore deleted. I am sorry that you appear to have had a bad experience with Raymarine but please do not commence blanket attacks in capital letters on ybw.com against any company, Raymarine included, in response to specific questions.

Well done Kim,

I have used Raymarine and have a generally good experience of the equipment. I would recommend it to anyone. You do get the occasional software glitches but no more so than with any other complicated system, including good old Microsoft.
