Hi Pete,

I've sent you a PM but if you have imaging software, you may have got this with a scanner or camera, open up the image in the software. Select 'Image' then 'Resize' and in the pixels box change it to the size that you want. Look for a check box saying something like 'Maintain Aspect Ratio' and make sure that it is ticked. Save the result under a different name in the same directory.

Open up Windows Explorer and check the new size. If it is still too large (Kb) then try saving again but in the Save as' dialog box, look for an Options button which will let you play about with resolutions. Don't delete or overwrite the original 2 files until your happy with the results.

Failing that, send it to me.

Have fun.

Gordon

<font color=blue>Send the piccie to BOATONE with a grovelling PM he will fix it for you and send it back so it works. You do of course realise it has to be on a website somewhere?

Can't send the images, cos guess what, they're too blimmin big! Have got imaging software with my camera but don't think I can use it for JPEG's in general.

Is there any shareware on the net that I can download?

Thanks, Pete

AFAIK most imaging software with calendars will work with any ol JPG. What camera / software do you have? I use MS Photoed which comes with Windows 2000. There are also several shareware picture editors you can download from the web which will do the same thing.

Panic over

Found a copy of After Shot and have now reduced each one from 1mb to <100k. Doesn't seem to have reduced the quality either.

Many thanks to everyone who has offered to help.
