Anyone got any opinions on the Azimut 68 Plus?

Some other forum sites say Azimut boats are shocking but i just wanted a second opinion.

I have a friend who had lots of probs with UK boats, but took delivery of an azimut 46 and went straight down the coast of france and spain, no problems at all. INfact he did drop something down the stairs and they fixed it for him in lanapoule

I also think that their styling is fab, not too whacky and curvy, but smart.

But on the negative side I think the reflective windows are total pain to clean, but spose that's what the crew should be doing. I wouldn't buy one cos unless it's 70.5 feet you can't get into st tropez, so may as well have a speedboat.

Feel i am banging on bout his a bit too much! You can't reserve in the old port at st trop unless 21.5 metres minimum. Think this is to preserve superyachtiness praps, not sure. I make that 70.5 feet, but even low-built flybridges like Princess22 look a bit titchy and lost....

Beautiful boat, especially the windows. Hope you get one.

What other forums criticised them? There was a thread on here about a year ago vcomplaining about delivery faults on a new Az 39
