The blood the hammer or the finger :D

I unreservedly apologies to all my neighbors - and most of Lancashire - that heard me swear a little those following seconds after impact.

And another thing, after all that, the boats trailer axle is still bent

Any simpethy is greatly apreciated (not expected).

In true H & S mode - Don't forget, whenever swinging an 'ammer,
,,,,,, make sure some other poor sod does the holding.

That said-

Having a lovely day moored up on the Menai Straits set to a few jobs - grr fkkkkglobbits.... new chisel through pad of left index finger. Grabbed tightly & pressure applied for extended period. 10 years later is still a hard spot & it's sort of numb. I wen t out & bought a lovely little vice to make future jobs safer. I've never used it!

MADE UP. Was fixing venerable trailer with '50s era lurry axle. Trying to get the end cap of the hub. A gruff voice over my shoulder... 'you need a bigger hammer" ... pardon... "you need a bigger hammer. Hit it very hard - it'll just pop off." (specific expletives deleted)
I did... it did... made my day!

The doc said it's a little over 1cm,,,,,, it feels more like I have a machete blade in their.

I'll fix the trailer, it's a mission (have to before next season), if he drives it over the wall again......!!
