UKHO Permanent/Temporary/Preliminary Notices:
1. New Editions of ADMIRALTY Charts to be published 29 August 2024 -
SNC 2695 England - East Coast, Plans on the East Coast of England. A Walton Backwaters. 1:12,500; B Continuation of Landermere Creek. 1:12,500; C Rivers Ore and Alde. 1:25,000; D Southwold Harbour. 1:7,500 - Includes changes to depths from the latest Harwich Haven Authority and Trinity House surveys.
2. ENGLAND - East Coast - Depths. - 4 reductions of depth in west end of the Sea Reach by the Mucking No 1 SHB and the West Blyth PHB. None likely to hinder leisure craft.
3. ENGLAND - East Coast - Jetty. Works. - A preliminary notice about replacement jetty works in the Upnor Reach of the River Medway by the Royal Engineers Yacht Club. - There is a longer Local Notice from Medway (Peel Ports) with diagrams in the Local list - scroll down on the local list to find it.
4. BELGIUM - Buoy. - A temporary notice reporting a new lit yellow special buoy close in shore just west of Zeebrugge.

1. River Medway - Saltpan Reach - BP Isle of Grain No.1 Jetty - Lifting Operations -
a programme of maintenance will be commencing at BP Isle of Grain Jetty No. 1 shortly. Work to remove and replace mooring hooks on the jetty will be starting on or around 16th August 2024 with completion expected by 23rd August 2024. The Mult-cat vessel “Liftmoor” will be conducting lifting operations during the course of the work which will carry a high degree of risk, Liftmoor will be monitoring VHF Ch.74 at all times. BP Isle of Grain No.1 Jetty, approximate location - 51°25.95’N 000°40.57’E. All vessels are requested to pass BP Isle of Grain Jetty No.1 with caution, minimise their wash and monitor VHF Ch.74 at all times. Admiralty Chart No. 1834 refers. 2. Approaches to Sheerness - SS. Richard Mongomery Wreck - Survey Operations - that survey work around the SS Richard Montgomery wreck exclusion zone will be taking place. Survey work involving the use of an acoustic doppler current profiler (ADCP) will take place on 16th , 19th and 22nd of August 2024. Survey work will be conducted from the vessel Amelie-G who will work close the wreck perimeter but not enter the exclusion zone. Amelie-G will maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 74 at all times and may be restricted in her ability to manoeuvre during survey operations. All vessels passing the Richard Mongomery wreck on the dates stated above are requested to do so with caution, reducing their speed and wash appropriately. Admiralty Chart No. 3683 refers.
3. Lowestoft Inner Harbour – Gull Wing Bridge Harbour Directions - This notice is to provide formal notification that the Gull Wing (Lake Lothing Third Crossing) Harbour Directions will come into effect when the Gull Wing Bridge becomes fully operational. This date is currently scheduled to be 5th September 2024 and is subject to variation due to final commissioning works. A confirmed date will be advised by a follow up Notice to Mariners once it is known. The Harbour Directions, and Bridge scheme of Operation are attached with this notice (No it isn't but there is a download button on the Local List at: Notices to Mariners and can also be viewed @ Associated British Ports | Lowestoft
4. Dover Harbour - Diving Operations – Closed Area (Updated). Mariners are advised Diving Operations will take place in the area as indicated below and will continue until Friday 23rd August 2024. The area is closed to all traffic apart from contracted vessels involved in project 3B. Those vessels operating in the area are to keep a good look out and manoeuvre with caution. (The Area is the Wellington Dock area.
