Norway shore power

I think that we've managed to obfuscate that nicely for you!
Guaranteed though, that it's not a UK plug....!
The (poor) screen grab from a Norwegian Marina Socket page, does show both, as others have indicated.

Thanks for your replies folks. It seems that in some marinas in Norway we will be able to use the blue 16A plug that we use in the UK, and that for others we will need to get an adaptor for the continental 2-pin with 2 earth logs.

Most marinas in the UK use the EU EN 60309 socket (aka CEE Form - blue denotes the voltage range 200-250v and the size denotes the current - most are 16A).

I have been on boats which had an adapter made up from a continental 2-pin plug joined by a short length of cable to blue UK female "plug".

I have a bag of adaptors that do this - probably about 8 different kinds I’ve found in marinas throughout UK and Europe. There used to be a fashion for marinas having “special” sockets so you’d have to take an adapter with a deposit. Marinas would be perplexed when I’d just fish one out. In recent years the main adaptors I’ve ended up using have been just 32Amp and the giant 3 phase ones.

We have similar situation here .. and I have made my own adaptor for use when visiting other locations ..... as well as having another cable with Blue connector for boat one end and the EU domestic plug other.... that cable stays on my home pontoon.
