Less theft this year?

Ha, maybe :)
My OM had an outboard nicked from his boat and I saw it at Beaulieu about 10 years later!
It had a very distinct scratch on the side of it.
I went and told the police tent team and they recovered it. The police had a map of the site and had marked up all the 'dodgy' stalls.
My dads OB came from one of them!
The OB had had a hard life, and it's serial number had been removed.
The guy selling it claimed he had taken it in part X
BS......

Indeed. I reckon Hampshire police will be delighted the jumble isn't on.

It's a very strange place - people haggling over 50p for a bit of rope just to come back the following year and try to sell it for 50p more.
