AGM batteries, not impressed. What’s your view?

A number of points raised:

The new batteries have a 3 year warranty and were their better range. Standard warranty is 2 years. Tayna have been very good for boat batteries in the past and honoured a warranty claim some time ago.

Yes, our insurers are very particular about lithium batteries so I’ve fitted decent lead acid. I’d love to explore the increased capacity but don’t want to upset the insurer.

Ultimately the replacement batteries weren’t horrific in the general scheme of things and the 2 sets of AGM batteries have done 3 years between them so I don’t feel too hard done by 😎
