Re: Wait - get the Novamarine. The best 320/350 on the planet

I dunno about dealers. This seems to be the novamarine problemo. Brilliant product, crap distribution. They're nailed together in Sardina, costa smeralda. Praps we should nip over in August and both trade in at the factory?

I just checked out the http://www.mercurymarine.com/jet_drives site. They do that 2500cc powerhead in a 240hp EFI version with only a 17kg penalty over the same footprint 175 version. And it has that Smartcraft canbus lectronic control, so you can have all electronickery dashboard with fuel burn measurement and range and stuff, if you want to go totally nuts about the whole thing, tee hee.

Need to find a dealer. I'm going for a white one so not too flash /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

mike marine, biot

these quite good and have a proper lorry for hoiking knackered ribs out of the water so i will callem. Unlikely to jam a diffrent shaped boat into the hand-crafted hole in my boat tho. Will need to use the quite big hammer.

Do they do a gold one with leopard-print seats cos i don't think the silver is quite glitzy enough for me, really.

massive dremelling job

Hmmm. That hand crafted hole is fixable though. It's just fastened in with screws along the flange and there is space behind it. We could hoik it out and dremel the hole as needed. I'm sure leopard skin is orderable, they're italian innit. Red leather panel on dash too. Let me know if Biot people have any info, or display models in the shop

I know this is a thread ressurection, but that motorised antenna mast is very cool! Anybody know where they come from / can be bought? I have searched (almost) everywhere.

Cool while it works. But mine has bust after a few months. It's not made for saltwater and the design means that the motor is virtually in the bilge. I'll prob replace it and when I take it out and get the manufacturer name I'll post it here. Otherwise you'd have to get it from Williams or Avon (who also use it) as a spare part
